Galway Lions Club Christmas appeal
As Christmas approaches there are many members of our community in need of help. Covid-19 regulations have, in common with many others, restricted some of our fund-raising efforts. However, this will not stop us attempting to fill the void, as the need does not disappear and we remain very conscious of peoples’ situations during the current pandemic. There, she built the house in our photograph, which became known as Greenmount. She ran it as a B&B but eventually it became too big for her and she converted some farm buildings in what we now know as Lenaboy Park and built herself a small house.
